Club de Golf Sant Cugat is a centenary urban course designed by Harry S. Colt. It is very close to the E9 and AP7 motorways and Barcelona’s nearest course, just 15 minutes from the upper part of the city. The Sant Cugat station is only 5 min. walk from the clubhouse. A field full of history that was born in 1974 as Seve Ballesteros made his debut as a professional; in 1979 the first Spanish Championship for youths was won by Txema Olazabal, Sergio Garcia won there in 1997 as an amateur the “Open de Catalunya”. The 18-hole combines, depending on time of year ; for a par 70 or 69. The quality of the greens is excellent and has great reputation. It is not surprising that you will find them sublime. You can find them reaching speeds as high as 11 on the stimpmeter.
